Accord-platformed Honda has luxury and power
6 May 2001: This is the kind of luxury car that Honda could be selling here if they figured they wanted to be one of the big boys in Europe.The Acura 3.2 TL sedan is designed to deliver luxury as well as performance, though just enough luxury to pamper you sufficiently. The 3.2 TL Type-S is derived from the Accord platform and comes (in the US) with a 260-horsepower 3.2-litre V-6, with a 5-speed automatic with SportShift, which allows you to shift through the gears without playing with a clutch pedal.
It achieves 19 mpg city/29 mpg highway (US gals, so would do better here).
