Alfa launched GT in Ireland

11 March 2004: Alfa Romeo Ireland has launched the Alfa GT here with three different engines and in two specification levels.

The car is based on the 156 but is a true 4-seater coupe in the traditional manner. Though it looks smaller than the car on which it is based, many of the dimensions are greater.

The GT, expected to sell in limited numbers up to around 100 in a full year, comes with 165bhp 2-litre petrol engines with a Selespeed option, a 3.2-litre 240bhp V6 petrol or a 1.9 JTD M-Jet turbodiesel outoputting 150bhp.

Depending on version, the GT is available in Lusso or Sportive specification.
