High-powered Audi TT on sale here

11 November 2003: Audi in Ireland has launched a new high-powered version of the TT sports car.

In both Roadster and Coupe formats, the car is powered by a new 3.2-litre V6 engine outputting 250bhp.

The cars have quattro four-wheel-drive as standard, and they are also the first models in their segment to come with the new direct shift gearbox (DSG) using a twin-clutch system developed in Formula 1 by Audi. It also has a ‘launch control’ feature.

Prices for the cars, only available on special order, are €67,050 for the Coupe and €71,100 for the Roadster.
