26 March 2002: The UK Fleet News magazine has voted the Audi A4 the ‘Best Premium Upper Medium Car’ in its Fleet News Awards for 2002, knocking the BMW 3-Series from the position.

The award marks one of the most important victories so far for the Audi A4 in this sector of the business car arena.

Audi UK claims that its popularity is attributable not only to the merits of the product itself, but also to an increasing demand among Britain’s ‘user-choosers’ for the prestige brands.

The Audi A4 is available in saloon and Avant estate forms, equipped with a wide range of petrol and turbodiesel engines.
