Vignale Concept for production

05/11/04: by Brian Byrne — The Ford Focus Vignale Concept revealed at the Paris Motor Show is to go into production.

The coup-cabriolet which is likely to be rolled off the lines in 2006 will be very true to the concept's details. It is based on the four-door version of the new Focus and is promised to have 'class-leading' luggage space with the roof up or stowed.

Ford of Europe’s Design Group created a special team at its Dunton, England, design studio to create the Ford Focus Vignale Concept. The team took advantage of powerful computer resources to design the concept vehicle entirely within the digital environment, and in record time.
