Peugeot: the sublime and the superb

04 March 2003: GENEVA MOTOR SHOW Though the primary interest on the Peugeot stand at Geneva today was the production version of the new 307 coupe-cabriolet (above) shown in concept form in Paris last year, one of the other intriguing ideas was the 807 Grand Turismo concept MPV (below).

The very luxuriously finished people carrier is fitted out for just four people instead of the usual seven, with absolute comfort and convenience being the order of the day.

Large DVD screens for each of the rear pair of passengers, a table between them, a full panoramic roof, are just a few of the creature comforts available in a concept that could certainly be made available as a reality, at least by some customisers for clients with enough money to specify what they really really want.
