New Hyundai Coupe in Ireland

12 December 2001: The New Hyundai Coupe is being launched to dealers next Friday, and will be available in Hyundai showrooms in Ireland from the beginning of January.

It replaces the former model, which is currently market leader in its class, and will be available in 1.6- and 2-litre versions. Customers can also opt to order a 2.7-litre version for the first time.

The new car is longer and wider than its predecessor, and the interior style is based on a much simpler premise than the somewhat quirky look of the outgoing car.

Standard features include electric heated mirrors, a Pioneer CD player, front and side airbags, allow wheels in 16” and 17” widths.
