Elantra upgraded in Ireland

04 February 2004: The Hyundai Elantra has just got a new look, coupled with added extras now all as standard.

The hood, grille, bumper and headlamps have all been revised and air-conditioning, leather upholstery, leather steering wheel, front fog lights and rear spoiler are standard.

The Elantra is available in 1.6 litre 4 door and 5 door petrol at €21,000.

Hyundai passenger and commercial sales to date in 2004 are at a record 1509 units, representing 4.3% market share and placing Hyundai in eighth position on the Irish car market.
