Tucson could take from sibling
14/10/04: by Brian Byrne Hyundai Ireland may have a problem on its hands when it brings in the new Tucson SUV next month ... it could cannibalise sales from the brand's Santa Fe. Hyundai Ireland's Eugene O'Reilly admits that they didn't know just what the effect would be on their current very successful SUV sales. "But when you put the two together, the Santa Fe is a substantially bigger car," he noted. "I think there's a different market segment there for us." The Santa Fe in its current form is set to run through 2005. The next version will be larger than the present model. |
