Irish Ferries reports high bookings

03 March 2003: Motorists contemplating the thought of taking their car on holiday to France this Summer are advised to book early to guarantee the accommodation they require, especially in the peak Summer months.

According to Declan Mescall Sales Manager with Irish Ferries, some sailings are already heavily booked. "Last year we had a 15 percent increase in the numbers taking their car to France. Therefore, we advise motorists to put their names down as soon as possible in order to avoid disappointment."

In addition to their direct service from Rosslare to Cherbourg and Roscoff, Irish Ferries are putting emphasis on their Landbridge sailings to the Continent via their services to Britain. To this end a 10 percent reduction off certain Landbridge fares is offered on bookings made before March 31st next.
