3 September 2001: With Autumn approaching, Irish Ferries has launched a range of low-cost fares to France. Packages include a 5-day break for £149 return and a 9-day break for £219 return for a car plus four adults or two adults plus four children.

Also available are the popular Mini Cruises for just £69 return per person, including ensuite cabin accommodation. Attractive to bargain hunters keen to enjoy some pre-Christmas shopping, they include the option of travelling by car for just £30 extra return when two or more adults travel together. Over 55s have the added attraction of 20% reductions on all Motorists Fares for travel after September 2.

This year, Irish Ferries services to France will operate to a revised schedule with earlier departure times from Rosslare and Cherbourg in the period from October to January next.
