Jaguar may do another wagon

09 March 2004: Another wagon in the Jaguar line-up has not been ruled out by the company, following the introduction of its first estate car based on the S-Type.

In European terms, the 'alternative lifestyle' of the wagon has become a factor which no carmaker can ignore, and although there are currently no plans to build an S-Type estate, the company's chief designer Ian McCallum says that could change.

In a previous life at TWR Engineering, McCallum worked on a prototype wagon based on the Jaguar XJ.
