Cerato goes on sale in Ireland

11 August 2004: The Kia Cerato range is now on sale in Ireland priced from €18,995 to €20,795.

The Cerato is wider but shorter than the Mentor/Shuma it replaces and the 5-door hatchback and saloon are identical from the bonnet back to the B pillar and share the same wheelbase (2610mm).

Acceleration times for the Cerato models (0-100 km/h) range from 11.0 sec (1.6 Manual) to 13.0 sec (1.6 Auto).
