Kia concept van looks to changes in customer tastes

28 September 2001: Kia Motor introduced its Advanced Concept Van, K.ACV, at the Frankfurt Motor Show two weeks ago - a new fusion-type concept car based on the platform of mini MPV ‘Carens’, to adapt to the changes in customer tastes.

It’s a multi-purpose vehicle that incorporates features of a sedan, a wagon and an MPV. The car’s aerodynamic exterior design is made to suit practically-minded Europeans. It comes with height adjustable suspension to cope with various kinds of road surfaces.

Inside, the K.ACA is designed to make the best use of space, with a ‘cyber’ look achieved with the use of high-end materials suchas LED, aluminum, chrome and neoprene.

It is powered by a 1.8-litre DOHC petrol engine. TW
