Camera offroad helper

14/10/04: by Brian Byrne — Land Rover have produced a portable camera the size of a TV remote control that can be attached to anywhere on the inside or outside of the vehicle to provide an extra 'eye' for the driver.

The Venture Camera normally lives in a dashboard compartment in the 2005 Range Rover, but if, for instance, the operator is in difficult offroad terrain, it can be attached to the underside of the front bumper or some other suitable place to provide a view that might otherwise be obscured.

The Venture Camera is tough enough to be driven over without damage, and is also waterproof.
