1 June 2001: Following the recently-announced changes in the VRT applicable to commercial vehicles, Toyota's short wheel-base Landcruiser represents even better value and the best buy in its class. However you'll have to act fast before the price rises in July.

The recent change in VRT means that the short wheel-base Landcruiser moves from its current flat charge of £40 to a new rate of 13.3%. This will increase the recommended selling price by around £4,000. The actual recommended new retail price is yet to be finally decided and will be announced in late June.

This new VRT rate means that for the month of June, Toyota Ireland has a limited number of short wheel-base Landcruisers available at the original price from £23,825. TW
