First drawings of new Maserati revealed

29 May 2002: The first drawings of the new Maserati Quattroporte (four-door) have been unveiled to the public.

The drawings, along with the first clay model of the vehicle, were revealed in an exhibition at the Tokyo Museum of Contemporary Art, dedicated to Maserati and sister company Ferrari.

Entitled "Artedinamica", the exhibition featured several displays from the past and present of the two Italian marques.

The new Quattroporte will go on sale in just over 18 months and will bring the Maserati brand within the reach of a whole new group of potential customers.

The new Maserati Quattroporte is scheduled to make its public debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany in September next year.
