Sexy roadster is also most colourful
25 April 2001: It's charming, sexy and stunningly successful. Now Mazda's MX-5 roadster is also the most colourful, according to the Japanese Fashion Colour Association.
The body gave the MX-5 the Auto Colour Awards 2001 Grand Prix for its 'crystal blue' metallic body paint colour. The JFCA said the colour perfectly reflects the car's sporty image and beauty.
The MX-5 is the most popular and best-selling roadster in the world - almost 584,992 units have been produced since its debut in April 1989.
