Mazda MX5 gets tweaks

31 October 2002: It might seem odd that the world’s most popular roadster hasn’t had a fuel warning light, but it has now in a set of enhancements for the 2003 model year.

ISOFIX front passenger child seat anchoring has also been added for those younger children who are still in their Zoom-Zoom years.

All Mazda MX-5s now have electric heated mirrors and an electric aerial and the option of the more visually attractive cloth soft top combined with 15" alloy wheels in lieu of the vinyl roof.

The Mazda MX-5 has been bought by over 600,000 people worldwide and it has earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records.
