16 December 2002: Mazda has introduced a 7-seat version of the 2003 Premacy MPV, which has been recently upgraded to include air-conditioning and thicker windscreen glass to help reduce noise.

The two rear seats can be removed when not needed to provide a large flat luggage area.

There is now also a choice ot two interior colour scheme themes - grey or beige. Alloy wheels come with the 2-litre version, and the Premacy now has a three-engine choice, including an impr9oved 1.8-litre petrol and a 2-litre turbodiesel.

A 4-speed automatic gearbox is available as an option.
