New A-Class in May

24 February 2004: The next generation Mercedes-Benz A-Class will go on sale across Europe in May, shortly after its public debut at the Lisbon Motor Show.

No details of the new car have yet been released, but first versions will be 5-doors and a 3-door will follow in the autumn.

The car will be built at the DaimlerChrysler Smart plant in Rastatt, Germany.
