19 November 2001: All Mercedes-Benz vehicles purchased here from 1 November 2001 will be covered by a two-year warranty. This replaces the old 12 month period and applies to all passenger cars and vans as well as MB spare parts and accessories purchased in Western Europe.

For vehicles used commercially or in self-employed professional use, the warranty applies up to a mileage of 200,000 km in the second year.
