MG Rover produces CDVs

13 February 2003: MG Rover has moved into the car derived van (CDV) sector, with vehicles derived from the company’s Rover 25.

Available with an 84Ps 1.4-litre petrol and 101Ps 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine, the Rover CDV includes a fully flat rear lined loadspace, partial steel bulkhead (with the option of a full height loadspace grille) and secure lashing points.

The sportier MG brand is also present, under the name MG Express. The move is a double first for both MG and Rover as neither has produced a car derived van before.
