Mini to supercharge cabrio

28 April 2004: Mini is to add the just-announced supercharged 168bhp MINI Cooper S engine to its new Cabrio family.

Mated to the revised six-speed manual gearbox, this engine delivers maximum torque of 220 Nm at 4,000 rpm.

It can do the 0-100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds and fuel economy is 32mpg.
