Lancer launched in Ireland

07 October 2003: The Mitsubishi Lancer is back on sale in Ireland with prices from €18,650-€21,990.

Two engine sizes are on offer, a 1.3 which develops 82bhp and a 1.6 developing 98bhp.

The Lancer is competing in the C-segment with a 4-door saloon and a 5-door Sport Wagon.

All have as standard ABS with EBD, dual airbags, a CD with 4 speakers, remote central locking, and an immobiliser.

Mitsubishi Motors Ireland aims at selling 1,000 cars for 2004, increasing to around 2,000 from 2005 onwards.

The 1.3-litre Lancer Saloon is priced at €18,650; the 1.6 saloon at €19,990 and the 1.6-litre Sport Wagon at €21,990.
