Mitsubishi gains Euro sales

03 February 2004: Mitsubishi Motors sold 207,939 cars in the 35 countries where it is represented vs. 203,028 units in 2002 (+ 2.4 %).

The successful launch of the Outlander, with 10,284 units, was 29% above MME's objective of 8,000 units.

The European sales breakdown by models was Space Star 42,828, L 200 41,079, Carisma 31,771, Outlander (May launch) 10,284.

The result also included the first sales increase in Europe for Mitsubishi Motors since 1998.
