14 August 2002: A new Mitsubishi concept car-derived raid rally off roader will be shown at the Paris Auto Show and the company says it will be turned into a real-life racing project.

When unveiled last September at the Frankfurt Auto Show and then revised in a 2+2 configuration at the Geneva Auto Show in March 2002, the Mitsubishi Pajero Evo concept car left many questions as to whether it would ever be seen 'on the road'?

Now the company says that under the code name of MPR10, it will become one of Mitsubishi's 2003 cross country race cars.
