Wasp crash

19 August 2004: A German motorway had to be closed for two hours after a truck driver crashed as he tried to swat a wasp.

In the process, he caused a major swarm of wasps, because his 15-ton load of jars of jam shattered and spread the sweet sticky stuff all over the road.

It happened near Grevan, in the west of Germany.
