'Yellow Mustang' concept for NYIAC

05 April 2004: Aficionados of American cars will be interested in this Mustang GT-R concept for the New York Auto Show which celebrates famous 'Yellow Mustangs'.

It features a 440hp engine and retains 85 percent of 2005 Mustang’s body components and reinforced versions of the race-inspired suspension designs.

The Mustang GT-R signals a potential future race car while honoring four decades of performance glory just days before Mustang’s 40th anniversary.

It was inspired by the famous Grabber Orange 1970 Mustang Boss 302 Trans-Am race cars driven by US race legends such as Parnelli Jones.
