05 February 2004: This Renault Trafic Deck'up is an 'adventure seeking' concept based on the Trafic van that won the International Van of the Year in 2003.

The Deck'up has high ground clearance, permanent 4WD, and big 20-inch wheels. The power comes from a 2.5-litre dCi 135bhp engine.

Four people can be accomodated in luxury in the double cab section, while the Trafic Deck’up has an open platform like vehicles used for photo safaris.

This pick-up section can be separated from the passenger compartment by translucent glass shutters. When the partition is open, the shutters slide away into the ceiling of the double cab.

Two additional fold-down seats in the pick-up area provide seating for extra passengers.
