Less dealers since new rules

08 September 2004: A special version of Renault's highly successful Megane, the Monaco, will be available in Ireland next month.

The car, basically in Dynamique spec, will have a leather interior, special 16-inch alloys, and will be the first Megane with Total Hands-Free Keyless Entry.

The prices for the new version will be €2,170 for the 1.4-litre model and €22,750 for the 1.6-litre variable valve timing option.

The price is some €650 above the standard car, and the extras represent a lot more money than that.
