Biggest Renault dealership opened

11/11/04: by Trish Whelan — Renault’s new €10m CityGate Renault Airside dealership was officially opened last night by Bill Cullen, chairman of Renault Ireland amidst a fanfare of trumpets from the Clondalkin Youth Band which Renault sponsors.

Guests included motor industry colleagues from the Airside Business Park Motor Mall, which is located in North County Dublin.

Bill, celebrating 50 years of experience in the motor industry, said the project had taken eight years to become a reality.

CityGate is under the guidance of Con Gough, its Managing Director, and will be run by Derek Brady and a dedicated team of professionals including Sales Manager Vincent O’Rourke. Between them, they have chalked up 147 years of Renault experience.

Derek Brady will be running the Citygate facility which has been built on experience gained from other dealerships, including developing Ireland’s first purpose built Motor Mall at Liffey Valley.

CityGate is also Ireland’s largest dealership, located close to the M1 and M50 motorways, with the whole of Dublin and the north-east on its doorstep.
