Renault Be Bops

27 August 2003: Renault will show a pair of hip concept cars as a variation on the compact MPV theme which the brand pioneered with Scenic.

The Be Bop concepts will an all-terrain SUV and a sporting model, using the same curvy bodyshell with different coulours and interior treatments to differentiate between them.

The interiors feature a high internal arched 'backbone' structure that doubles as a storage system in the rear and a control panel in front. It also helps to support a 'floating' seats design.

The Be Bop means business in the engine department: The concept is powered by a 225bhp turbocharged 2-litre engine.
