Kangoo gets four stars

28 November 2003: The Renault Kangoo has achieved four stars for occupant protection in the latest round of the Euro NCAP crash testing programme.

The Kangoo is the first vehicle of its type (van-derived car) to be tested in the programme. It scored 26 points out of a possible 37.

The energy absorption characteristics of the car’s dashboard received particular mention from the testers.

The Kangoo has been on sale for six years and some 1.4 million units have been purchased.
