Rover introduces 'budget' entry model

7 January 2002: MG Rover has produced a new entry-level model - the 1.1-litre Rover 25. The engine can return a combined fuel consumption of 42mpg.

The new car is priced at e14,977 in three-door versions and five-door versions are available for an extra e634.

Specifications include driver's airbag, and alarm system. Burr walnut features on the fascia.

In Ireland, every Rover car includes a 3-year/60,000 mile warranty.
