SEAT gets another award

03/11/04: by Brian Byrne — SEAT's strongly stylish Altea has just added another award to its showcase of five previous ones, this time with the 'Auto Trophy 2004' award in the category 'compact mono-space - imported vehicles', a competition organised by the German automotive-centred magazine Autozeitung.

Previous awards have been conferred by Designers (Europe),the Design Centre of Rhineland-Westphalia, and the German magazines Auto-Strassenverkehr and mot.

Last September the 140 hp 2.0 TDI Sport version took the award for 'Best Towcar' in the compact mono-space sector in the “Caravan Club Towcar of the Year Awards” in Britain.
